Part two of Sophie's tutorial creating a toetopus, an adorable stuffed creature made from toe socks. This project was inspired by Peter Gardner's Glovetopus.
Part one of the project is here.

Now for the magic of the Toetopus. Once you have finished sewing the two socks together, turn the socks inside out to create the Toetopus.
Now you can give your creature a personality by adding eyes, other features and embellishments. Begin by sewing a button on for eyes. Pass your needle down through the hole in the button.
Bring your needle up through the hole in the button.
After you have passed the thread through all the holes in one button you can move to the second button and sew that in the same manner.
Next, you can use whatever embellishments you have to create hair and other elements of your Toetopus.
I am going to use some pom poms to create hair. Add a bead of glue along the seam you just sewed.
Glue on the pom pom hair and voila - you have your own Toetopus
