Sophie continues her series of yarn crafts with this super simple pom pom made with the help of a plastic fork.
Begin with a piece of yarn about 6 inches long. Slip it through the middle tine of the fork.
Use a piece of tape to secure the end of the yarn to the handle of the fork. You will use this piece to tie off your yarn.
Hold your thumb at the widest part of the fork. Begin wrapping yarn around the fork.
Continue wrapping around the fork approximately 50-60 times. Be careful not to have your yarn move up into the narrow part of the tines of the fork.
Cut the end of your yarn.
Remove the tape from your yarn and pull both ends up tightly around your yarn. Tie it off.
Cut through all of the loops and remove it from your fork.
Use your scissors to shape the pom pom.
