Step 1:

Cut two pieces of duct tape the same length as your zipper.

Step 2:

Flip your zipper upside down.  Lay your duct tape right at the edge of the zipper but not over the tines of the zipper.  Rub it to secure. Do this with both pieces of tape.

Step 3:

Flip it over.  Fold the other side of the tape up to the edge of the zipper - locking in the zipper.  Again, you want your tape to go right underneath the zipper but not on the zipper.

Step 4:

Extend your pouch to the width of your notebook by adding pieces of duct tape on either side.  Be certain to overlap each piece by approximately 1/2" an inch.

Step 5:

Flip it over and seal the back by placing more tape over the sticky side of the tape you just added.

Step 6:

Place an additional piece of tape half on and half off of each edge of the tape.

Step 7:

Measure your tape against the size of your notebook and trim it to size.

Step 8:

Place another piece of tape half on and half off of the edges of the notebook.  Seal the front ot the zippered tape to the notebook.

Step 9:

Open up the notebook and seal the other side by folding the tape over.

Step 10:

Do the same thing on all edges of the notebook.

Step 11:

Trim the corners.  All done.
