  1. shaving cream

  2. neon food coloring

  3. plastic spoon

  4. hardboiled eggs

  5. plate or tray with lip

  6. paper towels

  7. safe work surface

Step 1: 

Fill your plate or tray with a layer of shaving cream.

Step 2: 

Add drops of food coloring throughout the shaving cream.  I have found that neon food coloring creates the most vibrant colors on the eggs.

Step 3: 

Use your plastic spoon to swirl the food coloring into the shaving cream.

Step 4: 

Roll your eggs in the shaving cream mixture.

Step 5: 

Set aside to dry for at least 30 minutes.

Step 6: 

Rinse the egg to remove the shaving cream.

Step 7: 

Your beautiful eggs are ready for their basket.
