You Will Need ...

  1. contact paper

  2. glitter

  3. duct tape

  4. cutting board

  5. X-Acto knife

  6. scotch tape

  7. scissors

  8. bin or box

Step 1: 

Fold your contact paper in half.

Step 2: 

Peel the backing off the contact paper in each corner and tape those corners on to your bin or box.  This is simply to hold the contact paper in place.

Step 3: 

Peel the backing of the contact paper off to the fold line.  Cut off the excess backing.

Step 4: 

We are going to cut a heart shape out of the contact paper backing.  Fold it over and cut out a heart shape.

Step 5: 

Place some tape on the edges of your heart.

Step 6: 

Carefully attach it to the center of your contact paper.

Step 7: 

The next step is to glitter the entire piece of contact paper.  Use as much glitter as you like, mix colors - have fun.

Step 8: 

Tilt your box up and shake off the excess glitter.

Step 9: 

Remove the contact paper from the bin and carefully remove your paper backer heart.

Step 10: 

The contact paper will need a frame which we will create out of duct tape.  Place one edge of the tape on the edge of the contact paper.  Flip the contact paper over and fold the tape over the other side to seal.  Be careful to line the duct tape up exactly.  You do not want to see the other side of the tape through the contact paper.
