Begin by downloading and printing the templates found under the Stats tab above. The template is marked as to what is duct tape fabric and what is a sticker. Lay the template pieces down on your premade pieces of duct tape fabric. Trace around each template with your marker and cut them out.
For this bag we begin by attaching the flap piece to the bag body. Line up the front of the flap so its bottom is flush with the bottom of the bag body. Begin by attaching it on the back of the bag. For this you will need a piece of tape approximately 12" long cut in half length-wise.
Flip the bag over and attach the flap on the inside using the other half of your piece of tape. You may find that it is easiest to cut the tape into smaller lengths.
This bag has a seperate piece of duct tape fabric as ears. Trace that template onto your smaller piece of fabric and cut it out. There are two duct tape stickers that provide a bit of shadow to the ears. Attach those stickers. Then attach the ear piece to the back of the bag body.
Add a few pieces of tape going in each direction to give the bag some additional strength.
Now it is time to add the duct tape stickers to create the face. Begin with the trunk shadow.
Add the nostrils.
Next come the eyes.
And the eyebrows.
Finally, his smile.
The last step is to add a closure. For this bag we are using magnets. Tape one magnet to the inside of the flap. Lay a piece of tape that matches the front of the bag sticky side up on top of the magnet you just taped down. Drop the second magnet onto that piece of tape.
Close the flap and rub hard to secure the magnet to the bag.
