Step 1:

Take two plates of the same size and staple them together, lip edge to lip edge, with the serving portion of the plate facing in.

Step 2:

Cut a piece of cellophane that will fit around and overlap about 5 inches. Lay the candy center in the middle of the cellophane and fold the long sides over the candy center and tape in place.

Step 3:

Twist the ends to make the wrapper ends.

Step 4:

Secure with rubber band, pipe cleaner, string, etc.

Step 5:

Using a serrated knife, cut your pool noodle to whatever length you desire.

Step 6:

Wrap the noodle in either tissue paper, mylar, or foil (or just leave it plain if you like the color), then wrap in cellophane.

Step 7:

Wrap the box in mylar, foil or tissue as you would a gift.

Step 8:

Place cellophane around it and twist the ends.

Step 9:

Seal the ends with a rubber band.

Step 10:

Blow up a ballon and tie it off.

Step 11:

Wrap it in cellophane and tie off with a ribbon. (note - these will not last forever - the balloon will eventually lose air)

Step 12:

Assemble your paper lantern and place it in cellophane.

Step 13:

Wrap the cellophane around it and secure with ribbon.
