Step 1:

Cut pieces of fabric into small shapes or squares. Use your popsicle stick to simply press the fabric into the styrofoam ball. Press the edges of the fabric into the styrofoam.

Step 2:

Continue around all edges of your fabric until the piece is fully secured.

Step 3:

Repeat Step 2 with your next piece of fabric.

Step 4:

Continue in such a manner until the entire ball is covered with your fabric of choice.

Step 5:

You can leave the ornament as is, or embellish it like I did. I used these amazing sparkly silver sequins and sealed them into the ball using pearl tip pins.

Step 6:

After covering the entire ornament symmetrically with sequins, I made a loop to hang the ornament using a piece of ribbon.

Step 7:

Secure the ribbon to the ornament using pins.

Step 8:

Continue to decorate your ornament with any additional embellishments you have. I used some beaded necklaces around the whole ornament.

Step 9:

Voila! A complete ornament. But don't stop there! Keep going and make enough for the whole tree - each one more creative than the next.
