Step 1:

Print and cut out your bunny ears using the attached templates. Place two pieces of overlapping 8" long duct tape, creating a thin strip of fabric.

Step 2:

Take your 12" piece of pipe cleaner and cut it in half.

Step 3:

Take one piece of your now 6" pipe cleaner and place directly in the middle of your duct tape fabric. Use a ruler to make sure you place at least 1" from the edge.

Step 4:

Take another piece of duct tape and place over the pipe cleaner sealing it in. Make sure you are overlapping the tape on the longer side.

Step 5:

Now to make those big fuzzy ears, take your duct tape and place a 7 inch strip on your parchment paper. Place your second piece of 7" duct tape on the back of the parchment paper (as shown on picture) to cut both ears at the same time.

Step 6:

Take your 7" stencil ear and trace over the tape, then carefully cut out the pieces with your scissors.

Step 7:

Now take your double ears and place right on the edge of the pipe cleaner duct tape piece.

Step 8:

I like to trim about 1/2 an inch outside my red duct tape earpiece. I used my marker to make the mark.

Step 9:

Now to attach to your headband you want to cut a slit right down the middle up until the beginning of the pipe cleaner.

Step 10:

Attach a tiny piece of tape to each back end. Then take your headband and after placing the ear in the desired location start wrapping to the side and around the headband.

Step 11:

To cover the rest of the headband and really secure those ears take another piece of duct tape cut in half. Wrap completely around the headband until you finish and cover completely. It is best if you wrap the tape at an angle.

Step 12:

One side is complete.

Step 13:

Now you can go ahead and repeat the steps to finish up the second side as well.

Step 14:

All done. Ears are ready to go, make yourself a fuzzy little bunny tail while you're at it and you have the perfect Easter costume :)
