Easter is a great time to make friends out of some sweet treats! Watch as this lollipop becomes the the cutest little bunny :)
bead for head (hole must be at least 3mm*)
Pipe Cleaner (At least one per lollipop)
Scissors
Sharpie
Stickers or Construction Paper
Puff Ball (Tail)
glue gun
Make sure the wrapper is tightly secured on your lollipop. Lay one one pipe cleaner underneath it, just below the lollipop itself.
Wrap the pipe cleaner around the stick of the lollipop. Cut the pipe cleaner approximately 2 inches from the stick on both sides.
Slip your bead over the stick..
You will need a second pipe cleaner to create the ears. Place another pipe cleaner underneath the lollipop stick, just above the bead, about half way down.
Twist that pipecleaner around the lolli stick like you did the first.
Fold the loose end in to the stick and twist at the base where the two pipecleaners come together, making a loop.
Repeat the last step for the second side, making yourself a nice pair of ears :)
Trim the remaining pieces of pipe cleaners. It is best to remove the pipe cleaner from the stick to do so.
Now for the feet! I used some fun heart stickers left over from Valentine's crafts, but you can also use craft paper as well. Cut a small pinky-size notch in one of the heart stickers.
Peel the backing off of a sticker (that doesn't have a notch) and attach to the bottom of your lollipop, sticky side up.
Place your second, notched sticker directly on top of the first sticker.
Almost done! Take your sharpie and draw some lines on the feet, eyes, maybe some whiskers and a nose on your little bead head.
Lastly, your bunny needs some help to stand independently. For that, attach a little puff ball as a tail in the back. I used my hot glue gun for this.
All done! How fun and easy was that??!
