Step 1:

Pre-cut some duct tape strips beforehand. Print out the template, which you can find by clicking on the "stats" tab above and lay it out on the duct tape fabric. Remember, when you make your second "front" piece, flip it over.

Step 2:

Cut out your templates. Save the scraps - we will use those for accessories later.

Step 3:

Line up your top vest piece over the back vest piece.

Step 4:

Using your pre-cut strips secure the edges and attach the pattern pieces together. Remember, half on and half off.

Step 5:

Repeat on all sides. Remember to secure the back with the second half of the sticky side.

Step 6:

Turn your vest inside out to secure this side as well.

Step 7:

Take your remaining pre made strips and apply to all the seams on the inside as well. If you want the seams to be invisible, use the same colored tape as the inside/outside of your vest.

Step 8:

Flip the vest back to normal. Trim any overhang or mistakes you may have made, leaving the edges nice and clean and stick-free.

Step 9:

This is also a great time to add any special extras you may want (stickers, embellishments, extra duct tape trims, etc.) have a blast!
