Step 1:

To cover the TP tube with paper, lay the tube on the back of your paper. Draw a line with the ruler that extends the length and circumference of the tube.

Step 2:

Cut along that straight line.

Step 3:

Attach one end of the paper to the tube with hot glue or tape. Roll the tube along the paper and attach the other end of the paper so the entire tube is covered.

Step 4:

Place a bead of hot glue all the way around the base of the tube and carefully lower it into the jar. Center it and attached to the bottom of the jar.

Step 5:

Cut the small paper plate in half.

Step 6:

Draw your feet, hands and ears on the plate. Make sure the feet cover the whole bottom of the jar as to keep the center a secret from all angles.

Step 7:

Cut out the feet, ears and front paws. Use a marker to color the center of the ears.

Step 8:

Fold the end of each ear about 1/2 an inch. Use hot glue or glue dots to add the ears to the lid, the feet to the bottom of the jar, and the arms to the sides.

Step 9:

If you want you can draw funny bunny teeth and cut them out of the paper plate scraps.

Step 10:

Add the eyes and teeth to the jar to create the bunny’s face. Add two cotton balls above the teeth to create the nose.

Step 11:

Cut out a little felt triangle and glue that above and between the two cotton balls.

Step 12:

No bunny is complete without a tail! Glue a cotton ball or pom pom to the back to be his tail.

Step 13:

Fill the jar with candy. To keep the TP tube from filling with candy use a ball of tissue paper to stop the top. Once the jar is filled, you can remove the paper.

Step 14:

Fold some money (or a special note) and slip it into the tube. Make sure you can see it when you look down into the tube. Secure the lid on the jar.

Step 15:

All done, and cuter than ever!
