You will need:
  1. Blank CD case
  2. Pencil
  3. Paper for the CD cover
  4. Scissors
  5. Ruler (Optional)
Intro:

Personalized CDs of photos or music are wonderful keepsakes, but appear bland when the cover remains clear and without a label. The CD case craft is a spectacular way to make the CD even more memorable and truly complete the personalized look.

Step 1:

Open up the blank CD case and place the clear cover over the paper you've selected. It's easiest to align the CD cover with the edge of the paper as I have done, to minimize what you will have to cut. Using your pencil, trace around the clear CD cover.

Step 2:

When your tracing is complete, cut along the pencil line with scissors and finally, slide the cover in place to make sure it fits.

Step 3:

At this point, you can go nuts with decorating the CD cover! I've used all sorts of stickers, paper, and images to really spice it up. What I love most is now I know exactly what's on the CD inside the case!

Sophie's Tip of the Week

Most parents realize that little ones away from home for a long time will inevitably need a change of clothing. Carry the extra set in a plastic bag. You can always use that for holding the wet clothes you are replacing.
